Looks good at first, but this place is terrible,

Do not rent here. The staff is terrible. The property manager is rude and does not care one bit about service. Her daughter is the leasing agent, and although she is nice, she is not competent. Here is a list of the things that will drive you crazy if you live here: (1) they rent to some really shady types who make a lot of noise; (2) the circle drop-off driveway is always blocked by multiple cars -- employees and friends of employees -- while regular tenants have to pay for parking (3) the washer and dryers are useless, and break down continually -- good luck getting fast maintenance! (4) the roof and windows leak -- again, good luck getting anything done about it (5) the Howard Dormitory next door is noisy, and the tenants at the rent-controlled Totten Tower (same management) hang out and yell on the porch at all hours, every day of the week (6) a tenant at the Totten Towers (boyfriend of the manager's daughter) raises pit bulls, and they spend the day in the management downstairs (7) there is a tenant who is known to be violent, has been reported by tenants, but the management has done nothing (8) the water pressure is very low (9) the so-called "high speed" internet is glacially slow -- the bandwidth is totally inadequate for the number of users.
Don't live here. It's cute and seems friendly at first. It is just a hassle, and it feels really low-rent for the high rents they try to charge (and if you do think about moving here, make sure you negotiate a lower rent -- you are a sucker if you don't, because they have been known to discount, especially if you look like the type who will not expect decent services and maintenance).
