Maintenance response time is about two to three weeks and is pretty good. Response time should be improved, but the service is okay.
Parking is excellent and never a problem.

The apartment layouts are better than most DC apartments in this price range. Most of the apartments actually have hallways in the apartments seperating the rooms, which is uncommon in my apartment search and a nice feature.

Grocery stores are close by but have sub par service, at least they are close!
Office staff is okay, not as bad as some of I rented from in the area.

The problem is loitering on the property and weird scarry people blocking the sidewalks and night and even in the daytime. It never seems to get any better.

The apartment has been very bug free from the past few years...VERY GOOD!!!
Unbelievable amount of sirens (emergency vehicles) up and down 6th street. Bought myself a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones not block out the noise. This is poor city planning and something needs to be done.

Police presence in the area is very good!!!!!

Stairwell floors are kept polished and garbage free at least in my building.

Laundry rooms have about three washers and three dryers each, and are well maintained. The cost however is $1.75 to wash and $1.75 to dry, expensive! You must use quarters, no coin exchange onsite and no option for a prepaid laundry card like I had in one place I rented.

The grounds look nice this year!

Some of the ammenities and appliances are a bit flimsy and the company has been slow on repair. If you insist repeatedly, it will get fixed right though.

I really do not have any problem reccommending this place. The buildings and grounds are clean and peaceful for the most part. I will probabbly renew my lease for a third year.
