Washington House is a real find. It is in a great location, is incredibly well-maintained, and has a fantastic level of service. I have been so impressed with my entire experience thus far (1 year) and will live here as long as I am in DC. The building is animal-friendly, so you'll see a lot of cute dogs in the hallways. Also, running into Tony or anyone from the management company, or the doormen, is always a pick-me-up! One warning: I don't have a car, but parking around Dupont can be dicey.
