I lived in Washington House for a year and really enjoyed the experience. My apartment was extremely clean and in great condition when I moved in. Tony Hooper and the entire staff are helpful, friendly, and really make an effort to get to know the tenants. I lived on the ground floor and had a minor pest problem -- but it was handled within ten minutes by the on-site building maintenance man. DC is a big city and you might see a mouse every once in a while -- but compared to other apartments where I have lived in the city, I was extremely impressed with Washington House staff's immediate attention. Never saw another one! I left the building because I left DC, but if I ever go back I'll be calling Washington House to check on availability!
