Don't let the attractive lobby and roof deck lure you in. I've had mice for months, and I know I'm not the only tenant with this problem -- others have mentioned it in the elevator and lobby. There are odors of garbage and mildew seeping into my apartment most days, yet the building maintenance claims that they can't smell anything. The walls are paper-thin -- again I've heard other tenants complain about how they can't sleep with all the noise. The combination of shockingly loud heat / AC units means that I can hear my neighbors' heat / AC turn on and off all night long! There are constant problems with the water, so they often turn off the hot and occasionally turn off *all* the water for hours. Plus, they're really rigid about the lease -- another tenant moved out with just a few weeks left on his lease, and a new tenant lined up to move in right away, and they still charged the old tenant a $500 fee for "breaking" his lease. Many of us are counting the days until the end of our (overpriced) leases to get away!!
