I dont want to bust no one bubble but I am a current residendt 2/2009 be living here for over 6 years. It has been a wonderful place until recently. In the last couple of months it has been TERRIBLE and FRIGHTENING to live here. People has been shooting in the parking lot, the bullets broke out residents car windows and various parts of their cars. The one that scares me the most is when a bullet went into a resident apartment window right into her wall. After all of that did they get security NO. Maintenance STINKS they do not come and fix anything. Roaches and Mice are taking over. Dont let the beauty of the grounds fool you. I live on the hill on Doughlas, when it snowy or icy they put a little cup of ICE MELT so you still can break your tail. Yes the people working in the office are wonderful but they have to be that way. My opinion is ASK IF THEY HAVE VISIBLE SECURITY, IF THEY SAY YES ASK WHO IS THE COMPANY THAT REPRESENTS THIS COMPLEX. It like living in vietnam. If I see a change you will not see this message on here again.

You live in DC. The economy is shot to ----, and people are becoming more violent becuase of it. But, as I said...YOU LIVE IN DC. THE BIGGEST CRIME-RIDDEN CITY IN AMERICA. You need to EXPECT crime. I love DC. It's beautiful in many areas, but times are changing...don't like it?? Contact Obama.

YOU KNOW WASHINGTON VIEW IS THE WORSE PLACE TO LIVE. THEY ARE WORSE THAN BARRY FARMS AND WOODLAND PUT TOGETHER. DON'T TRY TO OPEN UP THE MAIN DOOR TO GET INTO THE BUILDING. YOU ARE IN TROUBLE BECAUSE THEY PUT SOME DOOR GUARD AROUND THE DOOR KNOB AND IF YOU HAVE HUGE HANDS OR LIKE MOST OF THE EMPLOYEES ON THE PROPERTY AND YOUR HANDS ARE SWOLLEN YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN UP THE DOOR.

Just because its DC doesnt mean they have to treat us like a bunch of non working crackheads. I am so sick and tired of everyone treating DC residents like we aint ---- saying that its "DC" we should be used to it. Hell, we work hard to pay rent just like everybody else so that does not mean we should have to live in such a nasty environment. DC NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP.. Look over on C street and 9th, look at naylor road brandnew townhomes, stanton road condo's??? We need to complain because I an sick of working hard and coming home to rats and roaches and people shooting and fighting all hours of the night. Its CRAZY and my money isnt worth it. Shi* i should have stayed in ATL for all this shiiiit!!

DID THEY MENTION A GUY WAS SHOT AT LAST WEEK AND THEN TO TOP IT ALL, THIS WEEK TWO MASK MEN BROKE INTO HIS HOUSE AND HE HAD TO RUN TO THE RENTAL OFFICE IN HIS UNDERWEARS AND SOCKS. GREAT WASHINGTON VIEW. BLAME IT ON WILLIAM C SMITH. HE DOESN'T CALL YOU ALL BLACK
