I have lived here for 4 years and must admit that I was happy for most of my stay. That being said, the management was poor from day one - unfriendly, unhelpful, and simply unprofessional. If you can avoid any dealings with the management than you can enjoy the positives:

- great location, with sizeable clean apartments (with balconies), and well-maintained grounds
- garage parking, although this has gone way down hill recently (charge is an additional $100)

However there are many negatives that other reviewers have mentioned:
- rent has really gone up in the last few years to the point where it almost compares with the more trendy NW neighborhoods
- any repairs take excessively long and often you have to fight for them
- I cannot say enough about how terrible the management is, particularly the building manager - absolutely the worst I have ever seen (and it has gotten progressively worse). Everything is a chore, they are completely disorganized, and aside from some nice members of the maintenance and front desk staff, treatment is belittling.

Used to be one of the better kept secrets in DC; howver I would never recommend this place. Definitely look elsewhere - you'll thank yourself!
