I have lived at Waterside Towers for a year and a half. I am on the six floor and in a newly renovated one bedroom. Everything is nice, track lighting etc. Maintenance always takes care of any request that I have had, and there hasn't been many.
My neighbors are really nice, and I never here music or anything coming through the walls. The building has a lot of professionals, docs, lawyers, teacher and young families. Also a lot of older residents that have been here for decades.
The only reason that I am moving out, is because my rent has increasd from 1250 to 1380 after my first year. All utilities are included, but I am exploring the option of finding something cheaper. So far, I cant find anything that is a better buy when I consider amenities, electricity and proximity to the metro (i dont drive).

I am considering moving there in November, but am copnfused by the property being covered under rent control, but you recieved a 10.4% notice of rent increase. This increase seems to be greater than the rent control would allow.
