I have a one bedroom home here and have lived here for about two years. This area has changed a lot. Anyone who know SW of D.C. is aware that it was not always the safest area to live. Over the last three years this area has kicked out a lot of let's say rubbish. You know see a lot of transisition in the demographics now. You see people of all shades walking around with families and such. They are building a new mall right across the street with shops, bus boys and poets, and even a Starbucks.. D.C. has some big plans for this area and I will stay right here. Not only that but Waterside Towers is Rent Control therefore your rent will stay pretty low and you won't ever have a huge increase in your rent after a year. D.C.R.A contols this. And there is no limit on how much you can make to live here. This place is full of doctors,lawyers,judges you name it who were smart to live in a rent control property. I love it here and the best thing is I know my rent will never sky rocket!!

This sounds like Managements view point and not a true resident. Actual residents would not know to quote DCRA and the type of resident which resides in the apartment homes. Come on tell the truth

Anonymous - your point is well taken however what are you suggesting? Is something in the June 18 e-mail untrue or exaggerated? What is your connection to the community and what are your opinions of this property as a place to live? I am considering moving there in November.
