Westbrooke Place is a dated, overpriced "luxury" building in a great West End location. It's run by a bunch of incompetent fools ... who fail to respond to numerous resident complaints (broken treadmill, excessive neighbor noise, burnt out hallway lights) and clearly could care less about those of us living here.
The $800 amenity fee provides you with access to a tiny gym with equipment in dire need of service, a dirty indoor pool with a heater broken more often than not and "freshly baked pastries" that are shipped in via UPS. Wear and tear is also beginning to show here ... the water has been shut off at least 3-4 time in the last 2 months.
The building's only saving grace are the friendly folks working the concierge desk. But for the prices you pay at Westbrooke, it certainly isn't worth it.
Trust me.
