LOUD

This apartment building is the loudest building in Washington DC if not the nation. The intersection of P and 22nd is used constantly by fire trucks, police cars, presidential, VP and foreign heads of state motorcades and other assorted trucks and buses. The P Street bridge is one of only three ways into and out of Goergetown. 22nd Street is one of the ways used by truck traffic to avoid Dupont Circle. These geographic conditions make the intersection nearly always congested, resulting in constant honking, screaming, and brake squealing. Directly accross the street from two loud late night bars with significant street traffic out front. Add in helicopters overflying the building either to/from the White House or to/from Washington Hosptial, and you get a wall of noice that make sleeping impossible.
