Apartment Manager Writes Glowing Reviews Below

Here are the good things about Windsor House: location. That's it. It's the only reason I continue to live here. Here are just some of the bad things: (1) there is no A/C until mid-May (something they don't bother to tell you when you are looking at apartments); (2) they will raise your rent to the maximum amount allowed by law after one year with less than a month's notice (mine went up almost $100); (3) many residents are loud and throw parties on the weekends, but your complaints to management will be ignored; (4) tons of roaches; (5) they will "accidentally" institute eviction proceedings against residents even when they pay their rent on time; and (6) the office hours are apparently only suggested hours, because there is often nobody there when there should be. Also, I have been told that the office manager logs on and writes positive reviews on this site whenever there are negative ones posted here. I bet all of the reviews below were written by her.

He's right. When I complained about the noise, I was told to call the police. I'm sure the police in D.C. have nothing better to do. Everyone in DC has roaches, so the people below who say they don't are just lying (and probably the manager). Also the part about them delivering packages to your apartment is not true. I've had packages sit in the office for a week because their hours are not convenient for people with day jobs. I have a number or friends at Windsor House since I have lived here so long, and we all have complaints. I'm sure the manager is writing the reviews below, which is really lame. How about trying to improve the place instead of luring people in with lies? But overall, not too bad. I've heard about worse. Nice neighborhood at least.

I think most of these things are anywhere you will live in DC - roaches, everywhere I've lived. Windsor House will spray whenever asked though. Most appartment buildings keep the same a/c and heat schedule. At least we're lucky to control it ourselves, many buildings don't. And again, office hours at any building are typically the same as the rest of the offices in DC - meaning people with 9-5 jobs have trouble. I've found this to even be the same for doctors and dentists in DC though too... My only complaint is I frequently do not have hot water for a shower in the morning.
