I had a friend who use to live here for 3 years. The sad thing about it is...the building has alot of potentcial and the apartments are decent. But maintence is lousy..my friend Chris had a water leak that came from the apt. above and created a hole in his bedroom wall. It took maintence over 5 months to fix it.. and when they did ..it was a sloppy job!... Hallways are terrible with foul smell and yeah I was raised in da hood and you be scared coming in the building through the back entrance since there's no security and the parking lot is poorly lighted. Rental office likes to steal your rent money and then accuse you having not paid. Alot of people were living in apartments not listed as available. If you had anything nice in your apartment, forget about any of your stuff still being there when you get back. My friend had his playstation 2 joysticks stolen along with some games. elevators rarely work...so your screwed if you live on the 5th floor and up. Roaches etc.
Bunch of drug abusers in the building of you like that. I would always run into a bunch of lesbians hitting on me evrytime I came to visit him, since alot of people hang out in the lobby. They need to clean up Southeast, so much potentcial for great location to VA and MD.

The residents and their disrespectful teenagers have little or no respect for other residents and the building.
