Here since Nov '02 when it was fairly new and respectful. I've seen this property transform itself for the worse.

I've seen destruction of property, fights, vandalism, drug-use, disrespectful teens and young bad kids.

I've seen an in-flux of Section 8 folks who really have no business here and do not appreciate the luxury living they have.

The 'Front Office' people are also unprofessional. They do not exude any class at all.

I only recommend this place if you plan on being here for 1 year - than leave!

In response to your comment about section 8 recipents, you can't always judge a book by it's cover. I personally, just received a section 8 voucher after being on their list for nine years. I've worked since I was 16, never had a car accident, honor student, profficent in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Integration, graduated with honors from SANZ School, Strayer University and currently attending AXIA Int'l Western University. I've also worked at a very prestigious international organization for the past six years. I've also been in the process of purchasing a condo for two years to become a first home buyer. My world suddenly fell apart when I resigned from job in January 2006. I've to borrow on my retirement, my car was involved in a accident, now I may not be able to purchase the condo of my dreams and my current residnece is being converted into condos and I have to vacate by August 31, 2006. However, one week ago when checking the mail box, there was a envelope from the Department of Housing stating that my name had finally came up to receive a section 8 voucher. The voucher came at a good time, seeing that I don't have a job, but I do have skills and an education. So, it's really not advisable to judge the next person just because there reciving assistance from the government. I really need the help but you have those who do abuse the voucher. I believe this comes from so many younger folks (18-25) receiving vouchers with very little experience in budgeting, common sense and being responsible as an adult.

You are right. Section 8 people aren't all ghetto, but it's only a 1 or 2 year program. Some people I know have been on the program for 10 years and aren't looking for a way out. When you give the majority of these people this kind of luxury for dirt cheap, why get a job? Their comfort levels are way up they get a check every month and foodstamps. Most of them are living their version of the American Dream for free! They need to lower the quality of life and force the people on the program to get a job or at least go to school after a certain amount of time.

Section 8 is not a "1 0r 2 year program". Many people are at risk for homelessness due to mental health problems, age, physical disabilities, jobs that underpay. Who are you to judge people? I'm a landlord who takes section 8 tenants. I'm helping change the world one person at a time. People like you don't know what it's like to be homeless and to be spit uppon by society. No, you just build yourself up looking down on people because they don't fit into your unrealistic, idealized version of the world. Grow up and get some humility. Life has a way of knocking you down a few pegs. You better hope you never suffer from cancer, become unable to work, lose your job and your insurance, lose your home and are deserted by your family or just suffer a mental illness. God forbid, you might need help in life. People like you really disgust me. You're completely clueless.
