I have not had the bad experience that the other reviewers have. When I moved in 2 years ago there were some roaches in the kitchen and bathroom, but after spraying once (service provided monthly by management) and putting some "roach hotels" around, the problem has since gone away. I live on the 5th floor, however, and I know that pest problems are sometimes relegated to the lower floors of large buildings.

I haven't had any problems with the heat either. In fact, I don't ever even turn my radiators on in the winter because it's warm enough in my apartment all winter w/o even using them. I guess I must get heat coming up from other apartments.

Also, the management can be kind of incompetent (lost a package once, sent me a bill for $8 with no details on the charge), but they have never been rude to me.

From the 5th floor, it's a good value. Street parking is doable, so long as you don't get home after midnight. One particularly annoying thing, however, is that the laundry room closes at 10pm.

I recommend Yorkshire mostly for its value. Their studio units are slightly less expensive than others in the area, or at least average, but MUCH bigger. My studio could be a jr one bedroom from the square footage, but it's just not laid out that way.
