For over 2 years at Fox Run, we requested window screens to be installed - which never were. The windows leaked at every rain fall. The clothes washer leaked for months. The fridge door was broken for our entire stay. The walls (both interior and exterior) were paper thin - we could hear the neighbors every move and the heating costs were ridiculous. Both the heat and AC were not functional on multiple occasions during both the heat of summer and cold of winter. Neighbors left trash - including rotting meat - feet away from our front door for weeks on end. The quality of tenants seemed to go down hill VERY quickly. On one occasion, we noticed DHS reps visiting a two bedroom apartment (leased as Section Eight) in the complex that apparently had in excess of 10 people living within - including four children!!
Pet excrement littered every patch of grass in the complex. Management refused to enforce any rules and was extremely unresponsive to any requests what-so-ever.
When our lease was FINALLY up, the management tried to extort 2 months rent from us (for a supposed 60 day notice requirement) that was no where to be found in our lease (which they didnt even have a copy of)!!
Moving Out of FOX RUN was the best thing that happened with us while at FOX RUN!!
