My complaints are very similar to those I have been reading. I don't feel like I am getting a good value for the money. The apartment is VERY energy inefficient. I saw someone else putting up plastic wrap in their windows, we shouldn't have to do that. I know the people who used to live below me had BIG issues with Kirkwood gas and their billing. The wall between the master bedroom in neighboring apartments is embarrassingly thin!! I used to have a neighbor who would get phone calls at 3am and not only would the phone wake me up, I could listen to the entire conversation. The complex has never bothered to educate the residents on how to use the trash compactor, thus we frequently have trash piled up by the dumpster because no one pushed the button! There is a 18' truck trailer parked in the parking lot and there are contruction vehicles and people out there all the time. The staff has never been particularly friendly, even when I try to be overly friendly, thinking maybe they have just been treated poorly. This management company needs some etiquette lessons. I had a beautiful apartment in Havre de Grace and wished I had been commuting the last year and a half rather than make this move.
