Every review on here I would think is true, because we signed the lease and came in on our move in date....

COMPLETELY DILAPIDATED AND OUT OF CODE

Corroded pipes, holes in cabinets, the doors had all been broken down at some point and were replaced horribly. There were cables hanging out in strange parts of the walls, the promised intercom was completely gone and there was a bunch of wires hanging out of the brick wall.

The shower door was not placed in the shower right.

Windows - broken, some you couldn't even open

The fireplace - The tiles were broken

There was a steel wool pad jammed in the garbage disposal!

The microwave handle was broken

Water damage on some walls

Holes in cabinets!!!

I wish I was making this stuff up!!

We did not move in and demanded our money back, saying this was not what we signed for and they actually tried to say we had to stay because we had already sign the lease, that we did not "give them a chance" to fix the HUGE list of problems in the apartment. HA!

Delaware has a "3 day contract grace period" Law by the way, but we didn't have to bring it up, because after a heated discussion with the staff they stated they "would do US a favor" by letting us go with a full refund. (I cannot verify if this is true - but later that day we heard a horror story from a woman who tried to move in there and there was NO CARPET in the apartment on her MOVE IN DAY!)

What a bunch of nonsense. Well let me do all of you readers a favor:

DO NOT MOVE HERE AND DO NOT TRUST THE STAFF!

On my move-in day, they had to drill out the locks and replace them because the key they had didn't work. The bathrooms had been re-floored, but the cove molding had not been replaced and still has not been. I thought it was just cosmetic at the time, but now I see those little things as symptomatic of a larger problem.
