My boyfriend and i are moving to St Andrews next week. Everything looks nice from the visit the apartments look really nice. My boyfriend is from the southern part of De and is used to a slower pace of living. After reading the reviews on this apartment i have become concerned. I drove there a couple of times at night and it didn't look to bad i was dropping my application off at night. I do not like that it is not a gated community and that there is no security. I am worried now and would like to know if it's really that bad' I will be posting about how it is again when we move there.

This past Saturday, a young couple who live across the hall had a loud altercation outside our building at around 11AM. Among many choice words, I heard her call him "ignorant", which seems accurate from what I've seen, and then she hit him. Then he took her purse and I mean, just wound up and smacked her as hard as he could with it. She was screaming and crying...it looked like it hurt pretty bad. I called the cops but they came 30 minutes too late, as the couple had already left. Why she got in a car with him I don't understand, but I know it's typical in that kind of relationship. Hope you enjoy your stay at St. Andrews.
