Rents have gone UP!

You get nothing but trash removal and water with your rent (and the trash you have to haul to the nearest dumpster yourself and pray it isn't full because if it is, you have to haul it to another one - if you leave it outside of a full dumpster, they will go thru your trash to find out who left it and they will fine you for it!) The rents just went up another $40 a month which is ridiculous considering this place is already overpriced and located in between trailer parks and section 8 housing. There are MANY registered sex offenders living near St. Andrews (check the State Police website). And as it this isn't enough, you have trains rolling by blowing their horns all hours of the day and night. The train tracks run right along St. Andrews. I just can't understand why they keep raising the rents, especially now that our electric bills are going to go sky high. At the price they charge, tenents should get free electric AND cable.

Unbelievable. I thought it couldn't get any worse when I lived there, but it sounds like they have sunk to new lows. It's a bit chilling to hear about the sex offenders in the area...we all know that crime is on the rise at St. Andrews, and there is NO SECURITY whatsoever, not even a gate. If I lived there and had kids, they would never leave my sight. Management should be ashamed.

Sex offenders? St. Andrews are one of the ONLY apartment communities that pull backround checks. No security? Thats funny. When I leave in the morning to drop off my daughter at school, I notice not one, but SEVERAL state troopers that reside in my community. If its that bad, Why would police want to raise their families in St. Andrews? Oh, and $40? I thought the type of people that live in St. Andrews were upperclass. However, I see that cheap-skates like to live in luxery. After all, whose rent doesn't increase over time? Hello, what about the housing market? Honestly, I tried to find a house, but gave up and moved in St. Andrews. My wife and I have been looking again and our approval is well above $200,000. Do the math, and add in the bare minimum interest rate of %5.7 and the mortgage is still above what we pay. Not to say that I wont move out when I find the right house. However, I hate complaining people that try to down my community. Finally "and the trash you have to haul to the nearest dumpster yourself" - (anonymous, 2006). Let me guess, you expect them to "haul" your trash for the amount you pay in rent? (lol) Im assuming that the free continental breakfest wasn't enough? I live in the most expenssive apartment, and pay over $1,200 monthly. However, I don't expect anyone to throw away my trash for me.
