I moved here 4 yrs ago and the apartment community has gone through a complete metamorphosis. The first year and a half was great. The management staff back then took pride in the community, cared about their tenants and handled complaints expeditious. The apartment buildings and grounds were always well maintained. I now feel like I reside in a ZOO. The management and maintenance staff has changed several times within the past 2 1/2 yrs. You never know who you are going to meet when you enter the leasing office. As far as tenants, East Pointe, once took pride in who they chose to reside here. I feel like a prisoner in my own home. I constantly deal with loud,noisy,and rude neighbors. It appears to me, that the tenants that now reside in my building, like to compete with one another to see whose music is the loudest, who talks the loudest and who smokes the most "weed". I come home from work and have to climb over several people in the stairwell just to make it to my apartment. Half the people I encounter in the stairwell dont even reside in my building. Not only do these rude tenants/strangers linger in the stairwell, they leave trash and debris behind. When you file complaints with the landlord, about the noise, the trash, the loitering and the drugs; they do ABSOLUTELY nothing. The management's answer to everything, is put it in writing. Well, how many letters does it take to address my complaints, they damn near have a book, from me. I do not feel safe. I feel like management is all about money and doesnt care about the quality of living here. Would I recommend East Pointe Apts to anyone, hell no. RUN AWAY, RUN FAR AWAY
