Harbor House

I have been here two years and I cant wait to leave next month!

1.Management- Extremely imcompetent, Every complaint I have ever made has went unnoticed. Make sure you keep all reciepts they are not very good book keepers.

2.Bugs- Over the last year the cockroaches have become unbearable, I have nightmares about them. Again the mgmt doesnt seem to think its a problem.how would you feel if you woke up and seen a cockroach on your kids face as they sleep?

3.Maintenance- Unskilled and unprofessional. Half the time they smell of liquer. My batroom ceiling has fallen 3 times due to a leak improperly fixed. My bathroom tiles come up when you walk on them. My toilet bowl completly shattered after numerous complaints it was broken. This happenened on a sat. they wanted me to wait till mon to fix it. (I only have 1 toilet). The overhead of my balconey is deteriorating I have big chunks of rusty metal that fall to groung I was told there is nothing that they could do. So my children are not allowed to play on the balconey due to safety reasons.

4.Parking- No handicap parking. I can never get a spot in front of my apartment, but there are two cars out front that havent moved in two months. Another complaint that no one seems to care about. thay dont even have lines panited for parking spots or any street lights. this place is nuts.

5.Safety- The teenagers in the neighbor seem to run things. I cannot leave my apartment without hearing cursing and vulgarities. They hang out all night my new car has been leaned on and scratched up. I actually seen a teen run across someones car the other day. I have asked them to leave, I have also spoken to parents as well as the mgmt staff. AGAIN nothing has been done. I no longer allow my children to play outside. Just last month a kid walked up to my car and ask me if i'd like to buy some drugs.

I feel like a prisoner in my own home. This property should be torn down! The living conditions here are horrible. The rent is not much cheaper than much nicer properties. I cant believe we signed the second year lease. Big mistake. I cant wait for this to be over. I want my children to be safe, clean and happy
