Not Too Bad... Not Too Good.

I moved into Whitney in August. I went to see an apartment that was ready, but was told the actual apartment I was moving into was not completed. The apartment I saw was very nice. The day I went to sign my lease and move in was interesting. I got there and like the other comment says, there was no bolt on the door handle. However, there was a deadbolt. So, I could lock the top but not the bottom. I called and asked for a replacement for the bottom and the guy came, replaced it but never gave me a key for it. So, I could lock it from the inside, but not the outside. I then called to get a key and it took them two months to do so. The only reason it got done was because a company came in and changed everyone's locks. Also, the day I moved in the water for my tub/shower did not work and there was no spout for the water to come out of. My Dad turned the water on, but then the shower didn't work and there was no stopper for the tub to even bathe! I called about that and maitenance came to fix it the next day. Then, I go to do dishes and use my garbage disposal and see water starting to flood my kitchen! I call emergency maitenance and they come to find that the pipes behind my counter were not even connected! All of my closet doors do not shut properly b/c they are so over painted. Everytime I open them paint chips off all over the floor. I still to this day do not have a screen door for my balcony so I can't even get fresh air unless I want bugs! Now my bathtub is clogged... we'll see how long it takes for that to get fixed. To me, it just seems like they rushed to get me in there and take my money before fixing everything. Plus, rent is rather expensive! Here's to finding somewhere else to live next summer...
