You might consider twice before moving to these apartments .There have been incidents here. I have been living here since last one and half years.Few months back somebody broke the rear glass of a car belonging to an elderly lady.Teenagers from neighbouring naaman's apartment regularly tease and throw stones at the elderly walking around the capmpus.Sometimes in the evenings you will find hordes of teenagers roaming around and passing comments on passerbys.There are swimming pools but gangs of teenagers have taken hold of them. There have been incidents with the people who live in the old age home there.It is not safe area and there are safer apartments around here. The only saving grace is the main entrance gates to apartments have locks.Management and maintainence work has improved. Apartments are as such are in good condition. School district is bad.To me who has kids security is paramount and that is undoing of these apartments . Street lights do not work many times . There are cheaper Naamans apartments next door and this place is not worth the extra money if the community is going to be like that.Last year the washer remained broken for 3 months and go try the laundry in tri state mall and you will regret as to why you moved here,3 miles north on Naamans road would have changed all that setting

I currently live in Whitney, have lived here for two years, and I have no idea what this person is talking about! I do know that there have been a couple of break-in's with cars, but that's about it. I have never seen hordes of teenagers walking around, nor have I ever seen gangs of teenagers at the pool! Every single time we went to the pool this summer it has been practically empty! And as far as the school district, it is the best one in the state! In fact, our high schools have recently ranked among the best in the country. I have also never seen a washer broken down for three months. I don't know who you work for or why you are bashing Whitney, but it sure seems like you've never lived here.

I agree with the original author. I am scared sometimes at night. And to the previous comment-Do you work in the office???
