I have never lived in such a dump... When I first arrived the office was closed, and no one was there to let me in. Funny because they knew I was coming, and when questioned where they were the entire family was in the office.. Mom is the property manager, Daughter in the office manager, other daughter cleans old apts. When I finally moved in it was beautiful. Until I spoke with neighbors and learned what had happened in my apt previously. The staff is RUDE, I can hear the upstairs neighbors having doing everything!!!! When you complain to the office about something, well lets just hope they are there first, they basically laugh in your face.... I DO NOT RECOMMED THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE!!!!!

You are exactly right. They are a bunch of clowns who run the property.
The daughter of the property manager has the nerve to live in the complex. They don't fix anything, they have two maintenace men for over 100 units and they don't work. Always out, never answers the phone. Real unprofessional people. Don't ever move here, I'm sorry I ever did!

I lived at Mapleton Square from fall 2006 to spring 2007 and it was cool to begin with, until the shady, unprofessional maintenance man kept showing up to fix things at my apartment without my knowledge. Then when he would show up, he would 'fix' things that were not broken and watch my television. I knew he would watch my television because it would be still be hot when I got home. The only reason I knew he would be there was because my homeboy would look out for my apartment as I would look out for him. When I got a dog, they tried to evict me although in my lease there was a specific "Pet Policy" clause that did not specify whether or not tenant could have animals as pets. The policy stated that the tenant would be responsible for paying a pet fee each month in addition to their rent amount. Ok, this was fine, but these b@#$%es really wanted me gone. Put it like this, if you are a hard-working person with a family, or you are in the military, or a college student like me and my friends, you get NO RESPECT. But if you are a thug or wannabe drug dealer like many of the individuals across from the complex and down the street, they will do everything to make your living conditions the best they can be (And really, how are you a REAL drug dealer, in Delaware?!). I would never recommend this property to anyone and I am just glad that I got my security deposit back and I am living back down South where I am from and things are so much easier.
