Dishonest Property Management and main office won't respond to phone calls

I had problems from the first day I arrived! See below:
1. I had to drive 60 miles to sign the contract. When I arrived, I was told they changed my apartment. No phone call: nothing! I had to move in because I already gave my notice at my old address. They never changed the utilities which was promised, so my utility bills were incorrect. It could have easily caused a black mark on my credit if I did not fix it myself.
2. Upon move-in, the apartment was dirty with scratches on the walls and dirty carpets. There was even a hole under the carpet in the main hallway! They did attempt to clean the apartment after we moved in, but that should have been done ahead of time.
2. The dryer never worked in the nine months I lived there. I reported it at least four times. Always excuses, but never a fix.
3. Build quality of the buildings is substandard. I was on the top(third) floor and could hear people talking in the street as clear as they were in the hallway. The same goes for your neighboring apartments and every car that goes by.
4. Upon termination of my lease, the property manager made a verbal cotract with me to turn in my garage a month early so she could rent it to another resident who really wanted a garage where mine was located. She promised to give me the prorated money back upon termination. It never happened! I was also charged a small amount for owed rent. I was paid-up to date, completely. I sent a letter to the main office and never got a reply for either issue. I made numerous calls to the main office without ever getting a reply. The operator says you must talk to a certain person that handles your apartment complex. Guess what: that person is never in and will not ever return a call no mattter how many messages you leave.
5. It has been almost a year with no contact at all. I have gotten so disgusted with the management that I quit trying. Not for long though. It's the principle of the thing. Don't let these people get away with this! Keep on them until they get disgusted with you too. I plan on it. If nothing else, we can make it miserable for them to keep screwing people over. Maybe, they will even give a good product for our hard earned money!
