Despite the reviews of other people I being military decided the military discount was to good to pass up. All my buddys in my shop on base moved into different apartments and I didnt like the feel of em. Small, cramped, gross feeling. I came to woodmill to take a tour of the place and they made me feel welcomed not pressured. The smaller one bedrooms are well small. Great for an airmen or even a normal kid in there first apt. But i needed to accomidate not only me but my girlfriend. She of course took the bigger 15 foot!!! closet and still didnt have enough room lol but i love this place. I hear alot of complaints about maintence but what i dont understand is whats the problem. If i have a major problem IE my kitchen is flooded they come within minutes longest half hour if they are on another major issue. Til then grab some towels. But for minor things...ie the cloest is off track. They come the next day. Yes the next day to fix it. The maintence here is AWESOME. I love them guys. Not only do they fix it they give suggestions to help fix it. IE my BRAND NEW DRYER was making noises. I called him and the next day he looked at it and he said its cause my gf was filling it too high and the dryer was fine. He wasnt frusted that there wasnt a problem he just said hey next time try and keep the loads a little less. Shook my hand and was off. They have new people in the office so maybe the people before me were horrible but now they are beyond awesome. There is a gentleman in there now who will remane nameless in case he is gone by the time You decide to come here but everytime i call about a question comment or concern he treats me like a person not some annoying person that calls every day. Which i do since yea woodmill is a little more expensive then some but ur paying for quality. Only apt (that i know of) with washer and dryer. But since i pay so much if it creaks, leaks, or etc I wanna know why or fix it! And he helps me beyond prolly what he should. So to sum up my mess of a story if you want a good "homey" feeling apartment with nice people away from base (but close enough gas dont kill ya) (if your military) then this is that place to go. (military discount is great!!!! send u a check about a month after living here for me over 500 dollars in my name for whatever i want i would suggest applying it to your rent for a year to make ur payments less) If ne one reads this in the near future or within Id say the next year or two (today is july 15 2008) tell them josh irwin sent you. i guarntee you will be satisfied or you and I wil go to the rental office and we can discuss why you arent happy and i bet they will fix it on the spot!!!! any questiona' email me lonelyfishstix@yahoo.com!! thanks for your time...

The office wrote this review. If they fixed things around here rather than post reviews on the web site they would be doing something for this place. These people only care about making money and renting apartments not fixing anything or putting any money into the place. I have lived here a few weeks and I am ready to move out. The office staff does not know what they are doing. Don't rent here or any other place Vintage manages they are all dumps!

I agree with the previous post. I know for a fact that the only positive reviews are written by the office. They do not care about anything but making money.

update. lately i have been having SOME issues with my apt. the thermostat dosent work the way it was supposed to and my electric bill has been high. I complained and they offered to replace my thermo with a nice new digital one. I declined since i plan on moving into a bigger apt asap. but its not that bad. i think half the problem is most people dont understand that some of these apts are farely old they just have new siding to make them look newer. oh and i have to admit maintence around here is a bit on the shallow end. they have tried to install the sliding door tracks on the ground a few times and everytime they end up coming unscrewed so i just gave up on them. but on the positive side my friends in other apartments have alot more issues then mine. and most of the apartments in dover are a gun shooting away from having bars on the windows. try and remember that it IS an apt building. they have what 3-4 in the leasing office 4-5 maintence and around 350-400 apts!!! i imagine its not easy to keep up. but like they say everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i like it, im happy, i suggested it, and i dont work there.
