Beaver Brook is by far the worst complex i've ever lived in. I can't wait for my time here to end, and I say time meaning this feels like a prison sentence. The maintance guys are wonderful, the problem is to get the rude, arrogant, and ignorant management staff to send someone out. Unless the place is about to burn down, they take their sweet time sending someout to fix things, and even with a fire i'm not sure how big of a deal it may be. These old buildings aren't as sound proof as they say, I can hear every conversation my neighboor has when she's in her living room, which is right next to my bedroom. There are abandoned cars in my parking lot, and I believe someone that doesn't live here, sleeps in one of the abandoned cars. I have to turn my heat up to 90F for it to actually come on. And if I fall asleep without turning it back down, I risk a serious nose bleed. The water is either too hot or too cold, and my toilet leans to one side. Don't move here unless you have a very low self-esteem and don't care about the wellbeing of yourself and/or family. These old buildings are a safety hazard and no one does anything about it. Things are constantly falling apart. You'll randomly get the smell of gas in the hall, flashing lights, or storm doors that could kill you if you aren't quick enough. All these upbeat reviews are straight from the rental office, none of my neighboors are satisfied with their living enviornments, we all have the same problems, we're all just waiting for the countdown for our leases to end.
