Take it from me! Living here is not as bad as people say it is. I grew up in Beaver Brook and lived there for about 14 yrs. I haven't been there since they've been under new management, but im pretty sure too much hasn't changed. I was there just the other day touring some of the buildings and models for old time sake, and just reminisced on how lovely it was there years ago, and if it brought back that type of feeling, I think it can in anyone. Maintenance stays up on appliances here, people are friendly, suburban neighborhood, reasonable rent, and renovated clean apartments. I think you get what you pay for in moving here, and I would move back if my income allowed me to. However if looking to move in the New Castle area, your first choice should be here at least until you get comfortable with the area.
