Scotch Hills' More like Ghetto Hills

Scotch Hills may look like a nice place, but looks can be deceiving. This place really seems to be on the decline. Look at all the new people that are moving in, looking like ghetto trash which in turn is bringing this place down. Oh and let's not forget all the illegal immigrants that live here. Take a look at the tennis courts on the weekend. You'll see about 20-30 -------- playing soccer on it. This place could be nice, but it seems like there are no rental standards anymore. It seems the leasing office is more concerned with keeping the apartments filled as opposed to filling them with decent people. Sure, the rental application may say you need good credit and make $x amount per year, but let's be serious here, most of these new folks wouldn't know good credit if it smacked them in the face. Secondly, it's amazing that most of these people have cars that aren't even registered in Delaware, but in states like virginia, PA and NY. (this isn't temporary this is months after they have moved in)
Also, the police are constantly coming here, due to the trash that the leasing office has no problem renting to. People let there children run around like monkeys making tons of noise. You'd think people would have the courtesy to tell their children not to throw basketballs up against the apartments, but what else would you expect from ghetto trash.
The walls are paper thin here. I can here everything my neighbor does from closing a dresser drawer to simply talking on the phone. Sadly, the only positive that I can of think would be the washer & dryer inside all the apartments, but this can be easily found at other apartments. With all that said, if you're still considering moving here, check out your prospective neighbors first, who knows maybe you'll get lucky and find a unit around some decent people. Goodluck with that!

I've lived here for about 2 year's now and never had a problem with the community. I've read over some of the reviews and it makes me laugh how people love to exaggerate. You definitely don't sound like a "decent" person yourself. Your complaints, however legitimate, were diminished by the misdirected and racist/labeling undertone of your message:( |

I agree with Beetle1. I never hear my neighbors. There is minimal if any noise from the children. Its very quiet at night and I never see anyone playing "soccer." My apartment area is clean and green. I thought I was the only one who read the racism. Maybe the boy needs a job.
