Sorry, the rape of the YOUNG LADY was in July of 2002. The murder of the young man was in January 2004. With all the crime that went on here got my dates mixed up. I see the Rental Office is on here again to try and do damage control. Read the 10/02/04 review for the shape of the apartment they rent. I think things have actually gone down in the 2 years since I have left this ghetto.
I did like my apartment, just didn't want to get shot. Read ALL the reviews below. One poster felt safer in downtown Detroit than here. Pretty sad. And yes if something isn't bolted down it will be gone. The office could care less. Maintenance is horrible "we'll get to it when we can attitude". At Home Depot many times and fixed things myself. And AGAIN and I cannot stress this enough. Call the non-emergency number of the New Castle County police and ask for the stats on this place over the last 2 years. Stonebridge has quite a little record that the Management would like to hide. Also walk around the place yourself (but not after dark). I made the mistake when I first got here of having the Management showing me around. I saw what they wanted me to see. Place has Drug dealers, thugs,
and criminals. I am glad I got out of here.
