I can't believe the bad reviews I see about the Villas!! I have lived in the Villas for 7 years now and I have to say I have had a pleasant experience all around! My child was 4 when we moved in and I didn't have any concerns about the people in my section nor in any other part of the villas.

The ladies in the office are sweet, very professional, patient and are willing to work with me when and if I fall late on my rent.

I would recommend the Villas to anyone who is looking for an apartment.

The apts.

down the street beware! That's where the drugs and crimes are taking place.

Stop by the Villas and see for yourself how the grounds are being kept and how the kids are outside palying and having fun no matter what race they are!

Okay, this is obviously a rental office posting, doing damage control. You can seriously give this dump a 5.0 rating?? I wonder who in the office posted this, LOL.

Agreed, my lease is up next month and can't wait. I have a huge infestation problem with roaches. Mold in my bathroom. First time late on rent I received a letter with huge writing and a late fee telling me to pay or they would begin an eviction process, and this was my first time ever being late.

so pay your rent on time. The complex has a mortgage to pay. and Delaware eviction laws are very strict. I live in the office's building and I have never had a problem with mold or insects. The only time you will have a huge infestation is when you're leaving food out or not being clean. When you live in close quarters like apartments its bound to happen if youre dirty. I have only had one the entire time Ive been here and the manager brought the exterminator in right away and ive never had a problem since. I think you might be over dramatizing your infestation as you call it. And if it was really THAT bad then seriously no one would stay here a whole lease. and clearly you have. So either you people with negative comments are complete animals that are dirty anyway and don't mind living with roaches at your bedside, or the problem is not really bad at all and you're trying to make the manager look bad cause you cant get a job and pay your rent on time. i think its the second one if you ask me.

You, my dear, are part of the problem. There's this sociological thing going on with the parents there, that seems that whereas one or more parents negligently let their kids run wild, then others who move in afterward have some kind of self-entitlement to do the same. I didn't have kids when I lived there (two apts over 6 yrs), and the whole time kids were daily interfering with my ability to drive up to a parking space, and just plain be able to park. I tried talking with the parents, then tried honking at the kids -- all I got was some sociological parent-group clique animosity that concluded with mgmt sending me a very threatening, nasty letter from mgmt saying to be careful around their kids, or I'd be dealt with. AROUND THEIR KIDS: kids playing in a very busy driveway and parking lot, never once been led to the very easily accessible, designated playground, by their VERY IRRESPONSIBLE parents! My response to management? "If you'll keep kids from playing where I need to drive, where they should never be in the first place, then I won't drive through the playground." Whatever mgmt was there the years I lived there needs to get a clue. If they can't get one on their own I'm sure Child Protective Services will be glad to help.... I'd rather not comment on one-day-late payments, since I haven't lived there recently. But from what I can tell, they still have a serious IRRESPONSIBLE PARENT problem that needs to be dealt with. As I said, I wasn't a parent when I lived there; but now that I am, I suggest to any resident to call Child Protective Services on all of them. Looks exactly to me like management only enables bad parenting behavior to keep them on as tenants. If not then it most certainly is not any concern over the welfare of the kids living there!
