I lived there from 2001 to 2004. I shouldn't have stayed that long. The buildings are very old and nothing is replaced unless absolutely necessary. They fix it till it can't be fixed anymore. I lived on a bottom floor apartment in the H building and always had problems with leaking in the back bathroom. The last time I had to sleep on my couch for 13 days till they finally got it fixed, but the main problem I had was the manager. I cant believe she still has a job there. She is the most unprofessional , bitchy person I have ever met. She does discriminate against race and age and she keeps a close eye on the residents to make sure no one has company for a long period of time because they are not on the lease. The walls are thin and if you live underneath somebody the floors creak so bad. I have seen people in the parking lot helping their children ride bikes and Janet has told them that they are not allowed. There is no playground, but there is no sign anywhere saying Adult community only. When I had the last waterfall in my apartment for that 13 day period, I had asked Janet to come and see what I was having to deal and all she said is that she has seen stuff like that before. Well she did eventually come down and when she walked into my apartment, she had the nerve to discipline my child because she thought he was running in the halls, which he wasn't. She had no right to speak to my child in that way, so I called her boss and left a message, but he never called back either. Needless to say I gave her a piece of my mind in front of everybody. Janet is a very mean, nosey, unprofessional person. Never would I recommend this place to anyone to live and I feel sorry for the people that are still there. Move as soon as you can. I felt more like a prisoner than a resident. Janet, IF you read this, leave people alone and mind your own business. People pay good money to live there and do not need your sorry input. Get a life and quit harassing people.
