I do not recommend moving to Pine brook. I have lived here for many years and have seen a substantial decline in the responsiveness of management over the past 3. In the beginning of last summer (2007), they removed all of the screens from our units. They told us we were getting new ones but it is now April of 2008 and we are still waiting. This is completely unacceptable. The staff is unsympathetic to the problem and management is not doing anything about it. There is also a wasp problem that they are unwilling to address. Additionally, the complex is often noisy and people hang out in the parking lots at night. The high rent is not worth what you get. If you plan on moving in, make sure that your unit has screens first.

I also do not feel entirely safe here. You do not need a key to get into the buildings so anyone can just walk in. I have had incidents where drunk college kids ring my doorbell in the middle of the night. I have also heard about homeless people sleeping in the buildings. I have brought these issues to the attention of management and have been ignored. I am moving out as soon as my lease is up.

i agree, the place is on the way downhill. once a homeless man broke into my apt and stole my shoes and some chicken nuggets, another time another homeless man took a crap in front of my apt door. really disgusting.
