OK...lived here for way too long. The place is GHETTO...not safe...too many "unsavory" characters lurking in the area...located next to Section 8 Harbor Club apartments...although I do suspect that the Royale is also Section 8, but they deny this...Rent increases every year, absolutely ridiculous for the tiny, cramped apartments...unsupervised kids running amok in the stinky, dirty, creepy laundry rooms ... snow removal took about 4 full days last year... heating units so old that you may be without heat for several days, but you'll always receive your heating bill on time or the property manager, Tammy, will knock and scream at your door at late hours...12 police officers hunting in the apartments for a resident who ended up beating his girlfriend within an inch of her life and Tammy screened him so well before allowing him to become a resident- she must have missed his 10 other aliases ...funky smelling hallways and rugs...maintenance staff always drunk....trash chutes CONSTANTLY overfilling with FILTH...and Tammy...the "Property Manager"...she's a JOKE...she is not only rude, trashy and obnoxious, but...she discusses the personal problems of other "poor" residents...one of the most unprofessional, nastiest people I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with in my life...My advice -if you HAVE to live here and the "Y" is not an option, buy a gas mask- and a GUN!

What's wrong did someone tell you something that you didn't want to here? Would that be the word No!!! You can post all the nasty things you want but there are two sides to every story. I happen to still live here and Tammy was the one person who made this place a home, so you can take your insults and stick them up that long snotty nose of yours. We all miss her very very much! She cared for each and every person. She worked hard around here. She would take us to doctors appointments. She would help people move. She can screen people before moving them in but they not going to admit that they may be wife beaters up front. Who's actually to say what really happened in that situation or if Tammy was the one who screened them. I guess if your boyfriend decided to beat you and you lived there still it would be Tammy's fault for letting you live there. Anyway, Tammy if you ever read this site "We miss you" and "Love You!" Hey I agree! I still live here and now the word is out about this site, so I'm sure you will get many more comments. Tammy was a great Manager! She is actually the most unselfish person I've ever met. She didn't care who you were or where you were from she mixed with everyone. She had Christmas parties, Halloween Parties and even Breakfast for the entire building annually. She actually would have dinners where everyone would bring something from their country and we would all try each others. Actually noone spoke to each other in the buidling until Tammy came here. She made everyone become friends and respect each other. I'm not sure who the person is who made the nasty comments towards Tammy but I can definately say that Tammy brought a smile to each of my days. Furthermore, it wasn't that she was telling anyones business it's just that everyone told their business to everyone. It was a small family. As far as maintenance they have always been great. Maintenance was friendly and helpful. They too went over and beyond the call of duty. Anyway, you don't have to take my word for it because Tammy isn't here anymore but maybe if your lucky enough Tammy or even someone else like her is or will brighten your day.

Anonymous is nuts! Tammy was great! She did a lot of hard work around here. Her first task when she arrived was to tell everyone who lived here that even though they didn't receive a heat bill for one to two years that they would now be billed for it and have to pay. This was all because the company either forgot or the person that was in charge for the last one to two years just didn't do it. I'm sure that was a hard task to have to accomplish for Tammy and I know a lot of people didn't like her after that issue. Tammy worked harder and harder every day. She is a very unselfish person who cares for others. When you live on the other side of the wall from someone you pretty much learn a lot about people whether you want to or not. Tammy if you read this keep doing what your doing because your very good at it. Also, maybe anonymous should have given Tammy a second chance. You are entitled to your own opinion but I'm sorry you feel that way about a really nice person. You said some mean things and your approach to your opinion was childish and it sounds like you lack attention. Michael & Kim

I lack attention, hmmm? That's funny. I'm a Vice President for a huge international bank after just a few years (I was fresh out of college when I lived at the Royale) and I make enough money to afford a home in the hills of Hockessin at 26 years old. Wow, and you are still living at the Royale...good for you! LOL
