I lived in Chasemont as my very first apartment. Rent was very reasonable, and staff was friendly. As a single lady at the time I always felt safe and I worked late at night. There are several entrances to get into the building that can only be accessed by tenants with a key. It does offer laundry rooms on every floor at the end of the hallway so you don't have to go up and down the stairs. The intercom system is great, so you don't have anyway showing up without knowing. I always had parking even when working late, and you are right next to a plaza full of convience. Pizza, salad works, mcdonalds, happy harry;s is all right there. Within ten minutes down the street is a grocery store. The one bedroom is not huge, but it is very nice for singles or couples. The only thing I missed was a linen closet, and a pantry closet in the kitchen. However, there is plenty of roomy cabniets in the kitchen, and a diswasher. I compensated missing my linen closet with sleves. I am not sure if the manager is still there, but she was very understanding with any problems her tenants had, and was willing to work with you. When I lived there it was hard to get a hold of matienence, but later hired a new guy and he was very helpful and always came no matter what hour it was. Overall, I had a great time living there and would have never left if I didn't need a bigger apartments.
