Well..where should i start. The management company doesnt care about any problems you have. They are in it for the money. Your rants and raves wont get you anywhere. The majority of the millions of dollars they spent there went to exterior work and the rest was used to just patch up the apartments on the inside. One previous post here said that the cabinets are painted over , that is true but for a few more dollars you can get new cabinets put in. The bathroom vinyl was put in very sloppy that after a month or so of using the bathrooms they will curl on the edges exposing a tile floor. If you pull out your dishwasher or stove you wouldnt believe the food and dirt that is left there. Leaks occur at all hours of the day but i must say that if you have a issue in your apartment it is best to let them know first thing in the morning so it can be taken care of properly..if you wait till you get home from work then things get done in a hurry. Buildings 1-8 are leaning over slightly so you will have uneven floors throughout apartment. When the boilers go out..NO ONE in that building has hot water or heat. The cable company Viking is horrible but you can use Comcast for cable and internet and Verizon for phone. You dont have to use Viking. The parking lots are always full. If you live on the ground floor there is an acesss panel by the bathroom , if you take out the screws and look inside there is always puddles of water in there..not very healthy in my opinion..the bifold doors are metal and are dented, the patio doors are hard to open , the windows let in lots or air, the laundry rooms are usually pretty dirty in some buildings , the traffic coming in and out of the complex is way too much..you have pot smokers hanging in their cars smoking blunts and you have people that dont even live here parking their cars and leaving in the other that followed them there , the staff at the office is constantly changing as well as the maintenance staff. Once in a while you will get a good response from the manager regarding a problem but it is always up to maintenance to follow through. This place is 30 years old so dont expect to live in Trump Plaza..you pay a lot of money but it really isnt worth the headache.
