My roommates and I lived here for 2 years we ve had a large amount of problems starting with maintenance. They often never showed up on time, when they finally did show up they were extremely rude. On this one occasion a maintenance man acutely told my roommate who has a masters in environmental science and has been using a gas stove for years that s You must not know what gas smells like when we called in to say we smelled gas. Maintenance here is just over all rude and don t care.
Also, the parking situation is horrible. It used to be that finding parking was difficult so to fix that they hired a toeing company to toe cars in the complex that didn t have the apartment stickers on it. What actually happened is when they couldn t get any one who didn t or forgot a sticker they would start toeing random people. They toed my car; they toed my neighbor s car that lived across the street. I watched the toeing company toe this one guys car by jumping on it till the e brake popped so they could get the toe hitch under the front tires. Once they started to jump on it the alarm went off so they cut the cables to the horn. THIS CAR HAD A STICKER IN PLANE VIEW! The tenet complained the company as they did for me had to bring the car back and put it back where they toed it from. The toeing company didn t come around during normal hours like during the day when parking was hard to come by they ran though the neighborhood when everyone was sleeping around 2 or 3 AM waking every one up with the loud diesel engine.
Let s not forget that the neighborhood behind this apartment complex is called Crookside (brookside). About 2 months into my 2nd year here there were 3 people shot 2 buildings down 1 of them died. Shortly after they did that they started to toe cars, if that was there answer to how to bring crime in the complex it was pathetic not to mention dangerous that no real action was taken. I guess it wouldn t be so bad if we weren t paying over 1k for a 2 bedroom apartment. This complex is almost a complete joke.
Finally, we go to get our security deposit back and for some reason they don t explain why they charge us over 500 dollars for cleaning . (The apartment was clean when we left we left nothing behind) the statement isn t even itemized just says cleaning , in my opinion that s a complete rip off. If you re going to charge me over 500 dollars for anything I deserve an itemized bill. I don t think that I ll be able to get the bill itemized since the office team is as receptive as a brick wall. Overall if you want to get ripped off, overpay for poor quality and possibly have your property damaged by horrible management. Have fun I m sure they ll be happy to take advantage of you.
