I've lived here for 3 years now, and the only reason I am considering moving out is for more space and a built in dishwasher.
Upsides:
*Management: Management has been superb, fixing any major problem I've had quickly and efficiently.
*Maintenance: Maintenance staff is experienced and professional, I had one small leak from my air conditioner drainage that took them a few attempts to track down, but once they did they fixed it right.
*Emergency Maintenance: There is a 24 hour maintenance line, and they respond quickly and effectively when it's called.
*Bug Prevention: They routinely do preventive treatments to prevent infestations, and the worst I've ever had in my apartment was a spider or two.
Neutral:
*Parking: Parking can be a bit tight to get close to your unit, but I've never had a problem finding parking somewhere in the lot.
Downsides:
* Size: The apartment is on the small side, and no dishwasher in the unit.
* Noise: If noise bothers you, the building sits right next to the train tracks and a fire station down the street. You will hear trains and sirens, but after a week I hardly noticed either anymore, and honestly neither bothered me much from the start.
*Office hours: The office is only open 9 to 5 on weekdays, which makes it hard to see anyone if you have a day job.
