Quiet and clean

Years at this apartment: 2006-01-01 - 2007-01-01
I've lived here for almost a year and have had very minor problems.
I was shown the apartment that I would be getting right off the bat.
The apartment was completely renovated with all new appliances.
The only problem I had was my dishwasher flooded, but we called maintenance and they fixed it right away.
Another problem was centipedes, lots of them...but then again, we live right in the middle of a forest.
Again though, they offer free extermination and after about 4 times we didn't see any bugs anymore!! It's very quiet and the walls are pretty thick.
The only time I had a problem with noise was because my neighbor is in a band and their bass was too loud, but I asked them to turn it down and they did.
WHen I moved in they didn't have a lot of lighting outside, but since I've moved in we have REALLY bright lights outside (i'm talking an airplane could see them) and they now have covered the walkway into the buildings so you don't get rained on in a storm, we have new signs up by our apartments (to tell which one is which) and they redid the carpeting and painted the inside of the building.
Also they seem to be trying to re-do the parking lot, so at least it LOOKS nicer.
Overall it's a really nice place to live and affordable if you get in on a special.
Just make sure you read the lease because it's pretty difficult to get out of if you don't read it correctly (i.e.
make SURE You give 60 days notice if you want to end your lease).
