The horrible manager! If you are a full-time student and can't prove your income more than $2000 depending on the unit prices. There are two options. Show them $30,000 bank statement or bring a co-signer. The funny thing is if you don't bring a co-signer right with you at the office, she might tell you "if you don't bring your co-signer with you, I can't even show the apartment units."
I was so angry. She doesn't know what she is even talking about. I've never heard there is any qualification to just view apartment units. Before I decided to sign up the lease or bring my co-signer, I need to take a look whatever units they have. When I called her, she seemed pretty much annoyed when I asked her to view the unit without co-signer. She kept asking me "do you have co-signer' when the co-signer can come' When the co-signer is getting off work' Can the co-signer come with you today'" She hung up on me or my call was lost. She never answered after that.
They had a pretty good deal for this month. BUT, I would rather live somewhere else that has normal office managers. I can even imagine how mean she would be if I had some troubles in my apartment.

i completely understand how you feel about the manager at that apartment complex. my girlfriend and i drove around the complex looking at the aprtments and some toothless old man parked his car right in front of mine blocking me and comes up to my window and starts yelling at us asking us if we are jehovah witness. i almost lost it when he said that, i nearly got out the car and almost swung at the guy. the come to find out he was the maint. guy that people write about on here that he is a drunk. you know what i also dont understand from this place is that they will allow sec. 8 people but wont take large dogs? anyways we have decided to move into Village 2 apartments, they are nice and quiet and if you move in by the 31st of Jan you get an amazing deal. good luck with your apartment search and as a sidenote, if they want to look at your bank statement and see that u have $30k in the bank, im pretty sure you would not be renting. because if i had 30k in the bank that would be a DOwnpayment on a house lol.
