Drive By Shootings

There have been two drive by shootings in Greenfield Manor apartments in the last 6 months. Several cars ended up with bullet holes in them. One shooting was in broad daylight -- noon, the other at night. In both instances, there were people in the parking lot that had to dodge the bullets. Go to the County police and ask them how often they come to this apartment complex -- specifically how many visits per week and what types of crimes are being reported in this complex.
In the same group of buildings, a burglary occurred at 2p -- again, broad daylight. Ask the police about this area. Make sure you ask the management what their policy is on people that are arrested -- are allowed they permitted to return and reside in the complex'
Ask for a written guarantee that maintenance will fix your problems with one phone call, not several or you have the right to terminate your lease. My experience has been that it can take up to 3-4 calls to repair one problem.

On the Capano website, http://www.capanomanagement.com/apartments/greenfield/index states "Let our professional, courteous staff provide you with the personalized service you deserve at Greenfield Manor." Ask what their policy is about senior management returning your phone calls and get it in writing -- tell them you'd like the option to terminate your lease if they don't return your calls.

Also on that website: http://www.capanomanagement.com/apartments/greenfield/ameni states that 1 Bedroom Apts. get a microwave oven. Ask them about this and make sure your apartment gets one.
