The buildings are nicely built and very stylish. However, staff is very pretentious, and pretends to care--but don?t be fooled, only money matters. Many promises were made about the quality and adult atmosphere, but this is also a lie. The "family restaurant" built to the rear is nothing more than loud, dirty student bar. Don?t be fooled by the view either--it will be replaced with a park, and most likely, more parking lots, but you?ll still be paying extra for the "view." Also don?t be fooled by the daytime quiet. After dark, the college students come out to play, and staff does not care, so long as they get their money. Also note that the walls are thin and hollow--you will hear your neighbor sneeze. We were promised a quiet family/adult atmosphere, and this is not the case, so be warned--the apartments are becoming yet another over-priced loud student ghetto where anything goes. The last adults are moving out as I type. :-)





As for the walking distance to Main Street, be warned--you?ll have to cross the "mugging" zone to get there. (But you?ll be robbed by Commonwealth first.) Also note that a "party street" (every house but one are student rentals)is adjacent to the property, and noise from there is a BIG problem.





Quality--all looks nice, but the builders cut many corners on this relatively new complex (floor squeaks EVERYWHERE, many windows won?t open easily and some leak.).





Parking--you?ll have to fight with drunken bar hoppers for a park on most evenings.





Rent--very high, but doesn?t go up each year since they?ve run all the adults off, and it?s not totally convenient for students. They have trouble renting all apartments; hmmm, wonder why! However, different renters have different rates for IDENTICAL apartments...be careful!





I?d only recommend the complex to students... ADULTS ARE NOT MADE TO FEEL WELCOME.
