Wow. After reading everyone else's reviews, I see that you either love it or hate it here.
I just moved here a couple of months ago. I can totally relate to the people writing about the flood problems. I wish I had found this website before I moved in.
My toilet overflows alot and I've had a couple of leaks when it rains (already!)!
The staff has been nice. I have been told that management changes often though. The current manager has only been at Oaktree for about a year.
The other bad thing is that there is a trailer park behind the apartment complex. I found this out when my friend, who works for Newark Police was out here because someone reported that there were trailer park children loitering here.
Overall I would have to agree that if it weren't the cheapest place around, I wouldn't be here (cheapest without being extremely unsafe).

As Far as "the trailer park" behind the place... why don't you call up the newark police and ask which is worse, oaktree or there! First of all in there, there are NO TRASHY RENTERS, such as yourself. They are so many rules in there that there is no time or room for the problems. Do some research and you'll see that this is the one "trailer park" in delaware with out the nonsense of drugs and violence.
