I have been here little over a year, the reason I moved here is because my house is under construction. I chose Prides COurt because of its cheaper rent, but there is always a catch when you pay less. Here are some of the reason.

The parking lot area is in bad shape, over the years due to ground settling its has pockets all over the area and when it rains, it has shoe high water puddle sitting for days and weeks. There was a drainage area broken by the entrance which was collecting water and when you entered the development, if you were new, your car would go thru it.... major hazard.

It took them a year to fix it.

2. Few months ago, there was a major rain, that caused flooding in quite a few buildings, the reason of the flodding was the sump pumps were not functional and were actually broken.

It took 4 hours for the maaintenance guy to respond to the phone calls and by then my apartment was flooded. His reason was, people call for every little issue so I wait till next morning. I had paiged him atleast 30 times in 4 hours.

There was a flood watch in the area that day but the complex only had one maintenance person on call.

Besides this, there are lot of minorities from the neighboring country who have the bad habbit of sticking beer bottle in the trees around the development at night when they hang out in the parking lot and decide to have some fun. There use to be a cleaning crew who would would pick up trash laying around the grass area, but i rarely see them.

No one comes to vacuum the lobby in the buildings anymore and laundry always have water sitting behind and under the washers.

New office staff is no different than what they had before. After I moved in some of the staff was fired and new staff came in, but no different. Highly imcompetent. Every month, if I pay the rent on the 2nd or 3rd, I get aviction letters for 2 weeks posted every night at my door after 10 pm. They have lost my check money order once and took them few days to find it, and it has happened to quite a few tenants here.

Every single building is roach fested.

Its waster heating, so every radiator column is rusted and looks nasty.

My bath ceiling was leaking from upstairs, so the guys apparently fixed it and on the ceiling whole put a puddy net and painted it, well it still leaks and slowly the net is going away and shows at least an inch wide hole. I have told them 3 times, but no one has come to fix it yet.

Refrigerators are small, if you have kids, forget it.

Pantry had shelves missing when we moved in.

I wont even recommend it to my enemy.
