I must say that the Office staff is friendly, but less than competent. We filled out that "What's wrong with your apartment" form when we moved in and were told that the problems would be fixed on Monday...two months ago. We were told that we weren't allowed to have certain breeds of dogs and only one pet, but yet I've seen people with those exact breeds (including maintenance staff) and people with two dogs. We were told that we couldn't have a grill on our balcony, yet at least 5 other people have the same thing. We try to stay within the guidelines that are set with us, but other people can break them. I'm sure that somewhere it's in writing that it's not allowed.
There are police here all the time. It's just a scary place to live. Lights go out on in the buildings and people don't replace them for over a week.

Some things never change. They tried to tell me I only gave 50 days notice, so I sent them a letter advising them that the fact I wouldn't open my windows was a violation of the landlord/Tenant code and if they deduced one cent I would report them--I got my money back.

WOW! They really improved the place then if this is all you are complaining about. When I was there it was alot worse! Make sure you brace yourself when you move out. They will attempt to keep your security deposit and blame the repairs on something you did while you were there.
