I have been a resident here for 2 years and love it. I have never experienced any problems with maintenance or management. If anything they go above and beyond for us residents here. Management has always been friendly to me. Can't speak about previous management. They are always easy to talk to and greet me with a smile when I go to pay my rent. I have referred family and friend here and they love it too. I will agree the grounds here are horrible, they need to do something about it. I am tired of walking in mud. They also need to install lighting by the RT 40 entrance (unsafe). If you want ghetto go down the street to St. Andrews where drug dealers hang out all night and play their loud bass all hours of the night. I moved from there to come to a luxury community and I beleive Rockwood is (LUXURY)!

This is an interesting review this resident doesn't seem to be able to count if they were here 2 years, it wouldn't be 2006 to 2006, also I moved in summer 2006 and there is grass all over the place (except for the farmed field out front towards route 40) It seem pretty much agreed upon if you read through these posts that Rockwood started going down hill Fall 2006, how they got the Best in DE is amazing ! Seriously, the way people have been leaving in huge numbers speaks for itself, and most people are getting on with their lives rather than look back on how bad a place has become after they move out... Or else they aren't posting, and what's the point to say it was great in 2002 under Barbara (not at that time but now in 2008 assume it is still great, she is gone) It all depends on what you are used to before you moved here, and especially what neighbors you have ! Only a complete moron blasts their ghetto music so loud that stuff falls off of their neighbor's end tables and doesn't think it bothers anyone else... these people need to buy head phones! if they want to go deaf, don't bug the rest of us... and I mean people not even in your building that hear your stereos!!! grow up and have some consideration about the thin walls !!
