Parking wouldn't be to bad, no assigned spaces and there is supposed to be a limit to 2 vehicles per unit, about 6 months ago saw 5 guys moving into a 2 bed 2 bath in next building, all have big vehicles. Having a school bus (I guess a few drivers live in here) park sideways across like 8 parking spaces from like 8 am until after 1:30pm or so sucks! they are there when I leave for work, and there when I come home for lunch, they at least can't bring um home at night like a personal car. Trailers seem to be left in spaces sprinkled all through the complex (in the lease it says they aren't allowed here at all) Noise, all depends on how lucky you are, I've visited friends where you hear the kitchen cabinets banging constantly, you hear the toilet lids drop and when they take a piss ! really disgusting, the construction plays a part this is true but noise don't travel up usually to 3rd floor! If there are kids (of any age in your building) you hear non stop crying, fighting, things falling over, parents yelling on the phone and ignoring their kids... if it wasn't so sad it would be funny to see some parent take their cell outside to make a call rather than make their kids behave) There are noise rules and if enough people in the building complain the office will evict for violating their lease about the noise. Most people don't seem to read the rules and regs, and complain about the super loud stereos you hear (winter windows closed)2 floors up and a building over inside. If you are lucky, you have people that do not slam their front door, or let their kids slam them over and over, you don't have "clompers" or very heavy footed walkers. While the stairwell is outside and runs dowm the center of the building, it is like stadium bleachers, the women wearing heels sound like a herd of elephants, while other people you never hear come and go. There is virtually no office help oon weekends or after 5pm its a broken record, we'll let the manager know Monday or whenever next day she will be in. Maintenance manager lives in here, but they let 5 different tenants with clogged toilets be ignored, the problems were reported early to mid week and not fixed by Friday evening ( maintenance felt as most units have a second bathroom they could wait until the following week !) 5 tenants showed up pounding on complex manager's door that Friday evening when people got home from work and got word toilets not being fixed because maintenance didn't feel like getting to it this week and actually were told stupid reasoning "well, you've got another one so what's the problem" The manager Stephanie, rather than getting on maintenance, was upset that tenants bothered her after 5pm at home... Barbara the previous Complex manager never would have let this stuff go on, she ran a tight ship. Place has a lot of landscaping that is kept up. The receptionist girl(') has an attitude, which was out of control while she was pregnant, but she still is bad news to deal with, she is only nice if you are flirt worthy to her. For the amount of money you pay to live here the place should be gated, heard a lot about break ins, not forced entry someone had keys, or as the police like to say "they probably just left home and forgot to lock their door" puhleas ... there was a pro group working this area and two other complexes near by, targeting single women living alone. The gun point home invasion made the news ! Anyone who could afford to leave, left asap so huge turn over in who lives in here now. They are supposed to deny the applications of registered sex offenders and felons... They don't check, they believe the checked box... There are times when you have a worse problem after maintenance has been there. They also don't go prepared to deal with a problem, they start, leave, come back, or sometimes argue you don't need something fixed. Way too much money for the situation. One last wierd thing I've never seen befor, the complex manager decides which building unit you will be put in, this is the only complex I have ever seen where they don't let you decide among what's available (all ground floors or top floor units like you want) People with kids usually want to live near parents with kids the same age so they know where their kids are, older or singles, usually don't want the family noise, when you work a hard day you need to come home for some quiet down time, back ground music or tv or just get some sleep... I'm outta here when the lease is up and the place I want has an opening!
