Although we had slight problems, we would still recommend these apartments. We moved in on a sublease from someone who was moving out before the end of their lease. The old tenants were responsible for cleaning the apartment and shampooing the carpets before they left, and they really didn't do that. We called the office and they said that that issue was between us and the old tenants. Another issue was that parking was horrible. Not that there weren't enough spaces, just that the lot was so far from most buildings, especially ours and since we were on the 3rd floor, it seemed especially far. (And I was pregnant and we had 2 toddlers.) But other than these issues, we still loved the apartments, maintenance was really fast (like really fast.) And when we left, despite minor repairs that needed to be done in the apartment, we still got our security deposit back. So all in all, good apartments.

The issue with the parking: once people came home from work, those little tiny lots in front of some of the buildings filled up REAL quick. So the lot that you would most likely park in could be significantly far away from your building. Also, try again with the thought of "maybe 3/4 the length of the building." My particular building, you had to walk the length of one building, then the majority of mine. While this apartment is recommended, you certainly don't sound like someone who is "shopping" for an apartment. More like "I work here and I have to dispute the negative aspects of this person's post." |

This is one of the places I'm looking into and this review is both helpful depending on how you read into it, but at the same time a bit irrelevent. 1. I would never expect a landlord to clean up an apartment if I were subleasing from someone. Doesn't hurt to ask, but that's totally between the one on the lease and the one doing the subleasing. After becoming the one leasing the apartment, then I would expect it. 2. The parking isn't far from most of the buildings. In fact, parking is directly in front of 4 of the 6 buildings. There are 2 buildings where the parking area is at one end of the building, but the most you have to walk is maybe 3/4 the length of the building. 3. The other comments about loving the apartments, maintenance, and the deposit are very helpful, so thanks! Those are some of the things that really help since I'm looking to move from my current apartment and this is one of the places I'm considering. |
