I have lived here for about a year and 1/2, and like any other place to live it has its pros and cons.

The worst thing about the apartments are the walls. They are too thin. One time as I was trying to sleep, I could hear my neighbors having sex. Another time, I could hear that they were talking, I couldn't hear exactly what was being said, but I could hear them discussing something. The other bad thing is the washer/dryer being in the kitchen, and the size of the kitchen. The kitchen is quite small as it is, yet alone with the washer/dryer in there, but I think its worth it just to have a washer/dryer in your apartment (expecially for the price.) Right where you enter your apartment, they have a huge spotlight, obviously for security and to see going inside your apartment, the down side of it is, Spring Run is next to a spring, so mosquitos, moths, bees, and other insects like to gather around that light, so as soon as you step into your apartment, you have an apartment full of bugs.

The pluses are the groundsman is the nicest guy you would meet and he keeps his watchful eye out for any suspicious activity that might happen in the neighborhood, and if you talk with him he will tell you everything going on. He also convinced the New Castle County police to drive through the apartments and keep an eye out, which I have seen them driving though and actually parked at the one entrance, which is comforting to know that they are watching the place. The maintenance guys are awesome too, if I put a request for something to be fixed, they either come that day, or first thing the next day. Their response time is great. My neighbors are the nicest people and have lived there longer than me and respect me and the fact I work midnight shift and have to sleep during the day. I love to look out my balcony and see just trees, and out my bedroom window and see just trees as well, it is very refreshing.

All in all, I would recommend Spring Run it is a great, quiet place compared to most in the area, for the price that they ask, it is very affordable.

Is it hard to get into spring run if your credit is not that good?
